Question:

Some of the functions in ChemDraw for Excel work but things like =CLOGP_DRIVER_PARTITION_COEFFICIENT (cell number) return the message #VALUE!. What can I do to fix this problem?

Answer:

Please note ChemDraw Professional (as well as ChemBioDraw Ultra or ChemDraw Ultra) suite does not include CLOGP function (ChemProp Pro and Molecular Topology functions) in ChemDraw for Excel. Hence when you tried to use functions like CLOGP_DRIVER_PARTITION_COEFFICIENT you got a #VALUE!

You can calculate all these properties within ChemDraw Professional (as well as ChemBioDraw Ultra or ChemDraw Ultra) application, but if you also want to use them in Excel, you need to upgrade to ChemOffice Professional suite (or ChemBioOffice Ultra suite or ChemOffice Ultra suite).
