LimsLink can collect data from virtually any source and can interact bi-directionally with informatics systems, instruments or instrument data systems. For example LimsLink can pull sample information from LIMS into the ELN for a sample prep process. When that is completed LimsLink can push that sample information along with additional information from the ELN worksheet, over to an instrument data system to automate the process of setting up the run. When the analysis is complete LimsLink can return results back to the ELN worksheet and at the same time it can backup raw data to an SDMS.
