Knowledge Management

CambridgeSoft's E-Notebook Enterprise streamlines the daily record-keeping of research scientists. Designed to replace paper notebooks, E-Notebook allows scientists to capture and store many types of data, including MS Office data (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), chemical structure data, and images. Oracle or SQL support allows organizations to share data, as well as maintain rigorous security and efficient archiving to support 21 CFR 11 requirements. Through a flexible configuration interface, the system can be set up to support the diverse workflows of scientists in different functional areas. The extensive searching capability allows organizations to leverage their knowledge base more effectively.

 

Biological Informatics

CambridgeSoft's biology solutions provide a rich feature set for analyzing and reporting biological data. BioAssay provides a powerful, easy-to-use method to upload assay data from multiple sources to a central, secure location. Once the data has been captured, users can perform various calculations on it, using the program's built-in calculation and curve-fitting abilities, or using 3rd party tools. When a group is satisfied with the validity of their data, it can be "validated" and published to the larger world using BioSAR Enterprise. With BioViz, users can analyze structure-related data combined with biological data visually. And for the tracking and managing of plate data, BioAssay can be tightly integrated with CambridgeSoft's Inventory system.

 

Chemical Informatics

CambridgeSoft’s Chemical Informatics Solutions offer an environment promoting electronic data sharing and storage of chemically intelligent information. Each module in the suite offers its own contributions to the research and development cycle including unique compound registration, chemical substance procurement, and inventory management of containers and plates.

 

Materials Management

Handling strict FDA regulations in a manufacturing environment is an area that lends itself to automation. Inventory Enterprise is an Oracle-based ChemBioOffice Enterprise product that is designed for multiple users with diverse container types, racks, and multi-well plate formats.
