Writing a CAL Script |
To create a script:
Arguments to commands consist of numbers and text strings. You can enter a text string without punctuation unless the argument is not the last one on the command line and contains multiple words or spaces. In this case, you must enclose the argument in quotation marks. To include a script on the Scripts menu, it must have a .cfs extension and be in the ChemFinder System directory or in the directory containing the ChemFinder application. To activate a script from a button, label the button with a script filename or string which can be converted into a filename. For example, if TOEXCEL.CFS exists in the ChemFinder System directory, label a button "ToExcel" to start the script. You can debug a script by stepping through it line-by line. |
