Sets and returns whether the menu item will be checked or not.

Indicates if that menu item is checked.  Some menu items can be checked (indicating that option is on true), for example, some of the options under the 'view' menu.  If the menu item is checked, a 'checked' symbol will appear on the left of the menu item caption in the menu.
