Sets and returns the isotopic abundance restriction on this atom.

Property type

Read-write property

Syntax

Visual Basic
Public Property IsotopicAbundance() As CDIsotopicAbundance

Return Type

Remarks

The isotopic abundance property provides the ability to distinguish between different isotopic compounds, for example between mono and hexa deuterobenzene by specifying a nuclide at any location. This property sets and returns the isotopic abundance of this atom's isotope:  any, deficient, enriched, natural, nonnatural, or unspecified.

Example

'Declares variables
 Dim myAtom As ChemDrawControl10Ctl.Atom
'Checks that there is an atom loaded in the variable
 If  Selection.Atoms.Count < 1 Then
     Exit Sub
 End If

'Reads and sets this property
 Private Sub cmdIsotopicAbundance_Click()
     myAtom.IsotopicAbundance = val(text1.text)
     Text2.text = myAtom.IsotopicAbundance
 End Sub
