Datalytix

Fresh Data without the Wait

Traditional business intelligence systems have been designed to deliver data and static reports, answering known, pre-determined questions. For many researchers, this has led to a significant investment in data “arts and crafts:” cutting and pasting results into a form that enables visualization and understanding. The problem is especially pronounced when combining data from more than one experiment or source.

Datalytix™ enables self-service import of relevant data into TIBCO Spotfire® software from scientifically significant data sources such as compound registries, biological assay repositories, LIMS systems, and other corporate information systems. This empowers scientists to ask questions of their data as soon as they are realized, accelerating time to insight.

The Datalytix add-on to TIBCO Spotfire offers:

  • Live connections between TIBCO Spotfire and corporate databases without IT intervention
  • Immediate access to data categories which previously required knowledge of data modeling to create complex queries
  • Dynamic insight and discovery within TIBCO Spotfire, as visualizations are updated with fresh data in real time
  • Intuitive combinations of available data from multiple, disparate sources
  • Search by text, numbers, date, and chemical structure
    • Support for common chemistry cartridges
    • Advanced structure searching
  • Import and manipulate complex data relationships through hierarchical tables
  • Query management
  • Access via TIBCO Spotfire® Analyst, Business Author and Consumer

Datalytix software creates an easy self-serve environment that dramatically extends a scientists ability to look at data as their questions arise.

With Datalytix software, data relationships are already known to TIBCO Spotfire, so the scientist is simply required to define which tables and columns are needed and the data is automatically linked on import.
