Calibration is a comprehensive instrument calibration solution that automates many of the activities required for scheduling, executing, documenting and controlling laboratory instrument calibrations. Laboratories are able to reduce the administrative overhead surrounding instrument calibrations while increasing their confidence that data integrity will not be compromised by improperly calibrated instrumentation.

Calibration can be used in conjunction with iLAB LES to integrate calibration requirements into routine procedures to ensure and document that all tests are carried out on instrumentation that is properly calibrated according to laboratory standards and requirements.
iLAB LES worksheets that are being used for analytical testing can automatically check the Calibration database to see if an instrument has been properly calibrated, before it is used for the test. If a calibration is required, the analysis method can be put on hold until the calibration procedure is carried out, or the analyst can be given the option to select another instrument.
In the same way, instruments that have outstanding repair or maintenance work can also be prevented from being used.
Calibration helps laboratories maintain a thorough, consistent and fully documented calibration program that integrates calibration activities with day to day activities in the lab.
